Who are we?

We are a team of three from different backgrounds, sharing the same passion for coffee:

Zoe, Founder (Sourcing)

A Surrey-based Hong Kong native, she was a passionate home brewer then transited into a coffee professional in 2021 when she first moved to the UK.

Zoe had worked behind the bar in several independent cafes and roasteries, as well as in wholesale customer relations for two years. She then gained experience in training, quality control and green coffee sourcing as the Head of Coffee at a roastery in South London.

Zoe loves coffee competitions, from national to international levels. She has volunteered for many years, competing, coaching, and recently judging national championships. You can find her in most UK coffee competitions or foraging in the Surrey Hills.

Sharon, Co-founder (Marketing)

She embarked on her coffee journey in 2019 in Hong Kong, where she discovered a passion for coffee as well as the artistry of latte art and brewing.

Sharon joined the UK coffee scene in 2021 and quickly developed an interest in competing. In 2024, she was crowned champion in most of the recognised industry latte art competitions—Kaffeine Smackdown. She also placed second in the English Aeropress Championship in the same year.

Her interest extends to the entire coffee chain. Sharon gained valuable insights and experience while working as the Head Roaster in Streatham, London, which sparked her ambition to start her own roasting business one day.

Ricky, Co-founder (Head of QC)

He switched to the coffee industry from another professional field in 2019, driven by a deep passion for coffee. To build his expertise, he obtained the CQI Q Arabica Grader certification, which sharpened his skills in coffee evaluation and broadened new avenues for exploration.

While Ricky enjoys roasting high-end coffees like Geisha and competition coffee, he is dedicated to uncovering hidden gems in the coffee world. He focuses on introducing micro and often being overlooked farms and producers to the market, aiming to share their exceptional stories and high-quality beans. By supporting these micro farms and producers, Ricky would like to contribute to sustainability efforts and to bring more diverse flavours to coffee lovers.
